China Conference of International Science and Education Producers (CICSEP) was founded by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) in 2000. Held once every two years, CICSEP has been successfully held for six times.
CICSEP is hosted by China Science Film and Video Association, which is directly conducted by CAST. CICSEP is an international awarding event in categories(China Dragon Awards) and stakeholders’ forums regarding the newest science and science-education programs. Further more, Pitching was first shown on CICSEP 2010 which was designed to promote the innovating and marketing in the field of science and science-education programs, and promote to exchanging and developing in the field internationally as well.
Since day one, CICSEP has been given consistent support from prestigious professionals and organizations at home and world-wide. Companies and broadcasters from more than 20 countries and regions, such as ABC, BBC, CBC, CCTV, Discovery, INA, KBS, NGC, NHK, NHNZ, RAI, ZDF, are our long-term associates and friends. It should be pointed out that some jurors and speakers even buyer in all previous CICSEP are coming from them. We are sincerely grateful to all the collaborators in the circle with the same ambitions and purposes, without the collective dedication we have been making, the CICSEP would not be such an influential event in the field, drawing much attention and acknowledged by the professionals.
CICSEP was founded in 2000, which was the Year of Dragon according to the Chinese lunar calendar, and after a 12-year–long cycle, 2012 will be the next Year of the Dragon again, and witness the seventh CICSEP, which will be held during October 12-15, 2012 at Yuyao, Zhejiang Province. Yuyao is a beautiful ancient city, located in the south of Yangtze River Delta, near Shanghai and Hangzhou. As usual, CICSEP will continue giving the China Dragon Awards, stakeholders’ forums, master class and pitching. We are looking forward to having the consistent aid and support from dear old friends. We also welcome more new participants to attend this year’s event, sincerely we invite you to attend the CICSEP by sending us the entries, or you could do Pitch meeting the world-wide buyers and experts; or you could be part of the Conference communicating with the outstanding and talented ones of the field.
